Fun Ways to Make Money - Simple
Making money does not have to be dull and boring. You can have fun and make money at the same time! I know. By now you think I am really crazy, but I can guarantee you, I am not. The only difference is each person's perception of fun. I love accounting and could sit and play with numbers all day long and be quite content. Other people like to work with their hands and build things. The main goal that everyone has in common when it comes to work is, they want to be compensated for their work.
A really fun way to make money is to not have to work at all! Finding ways to achieve this is the tricky part. My children and I like to make crafts. OK, I make the crafts and they are my test subjects. If they do not tear it up within the first 5 minutes, it is durable and can withstand almost anything. Again, crafts are not for everyone and even I tire of them after a while. I usually find myself hopping from one project to the next, trying to keep from being repetitious and dull.
Find something you enjoy doing. Writing, talking, math, building, cooking, or sewing. Then do some research. Look for ways that others are using these skills to turn a profit. Be creative and see where it leads you. I would not quit your day-job right off the bat, but you never know what it could lead to. You could be self-employed and doing what you love in no time! The main thing to remember is, do not get frustrated. There are only a select few people in this world that have ever started a project and have it be an overnight success.
Determination is key. Tell yourself you want to have fun and make money at the same time. It is possible! Setbacks will happen and the first few months will be slow going. Do not stop trying! The old saying is true, practice makes perfect. If one path does not work, try another one. If you have a bump in the road, smooth it out and start again. Support is very critical as well. You need a cheerleader-type person to keep you motivated and to be on your side. If every voice you hear is negative, you are going to get down and discouraged. One voice telling you that it is possible and you can do it makes a huge amount of difference.

Make Money With eBay
For years, each and every time that I heard a friend, family member, or acquaintance talk about making money online, I would politely smile and hope that they weren't as delusional as they sounded. Being a business major and long time entrepreneur, it wasn't that I didn't believe that one could make money online, but a simple knowing that the path to legitimate success was often littered with scams, false hopes, and a whole lot of hoops to jump through. Even as business savvy as I was, I had found very little reason to believe that the average person could do little more than make small amounts of extra spending money from internet sources.
Despite my apprehensions and that voice of reason in my head, though, I decided to attempt what I thought was impossible... to make money online. A close friend of mine had developed a business plan and it seemed very reasonable, even to my college educated brain. I was asked to join with my friend because of my experience in finances and small business management, and the investment to get started was very minimal. So, with a hope and a prayer, we began.
The business revolved around the resale of textbooks. Living in a large city that boasted six major universities and a handful of community colleges, we found it quite easy to purchase used textbooks at a reasonable price. Many people even offered them as a donation, while others simply took whatever money we offered them. After several weeks of collecting books to resale, we launched both an eBay and Amazon store, selling many of our books in the very first week.
While not every book brought huge profits, we never seemed to lose money on a sale. After just six short months, we were both celebrating success... along with a nice bonus check! While we have since ventured into other products and areas of online business, this was the turning point for me. It was because of this adventure that I have found multiple income sources from the internet... from blogging and freelance writing, to affiliate programs and online marketplaces.
Now, when I am asked about making a jump into an online business, I gladly can tell people that it is possible. While I am not a millionaire, by any means, I have been able to stay at home with my child for over 5 years, replacing my corporate income with money made online. So, if you are like me, and are wanting to become your own boss and work from home, making money through the internet, I recommend that you start where I did... selling on eBay and Amazon.
And, if you are not sure how to begin, one of my favorite free resources for training seminars, coaching sessions, and newsletters filled with great information can be found here. So, take it from someone who was a huge skeptic proved wrong... having a successful business online is not impossible... far from it... in fact, it usually only takes a little bit of training a small step of faith!

iPad For Beginners - How To Set Up A New iPad
The iPad is an awesome device and it can make it much easier to browse the web, enjoy music and other media and download millions of apps for both fun and productivity. However if you are new to Apple or more specifically the iPad you may run into a bit of guesswork when you go to set up the device for the first time!
In fact to set up the iPad in the quickest fashion you will need:
An iPad (just in case you missed this one!)
A Computer
Latest version of iTunes
iTunes account
Wireless connection
Step 1: The first thing you need to do if you haven't already is remove the iPad from its box and connect it to your computer using the USB connector. Most computers will have USB connectors on the back and sometimes the front.
Step 2: You need to activate it with the latest version of iTunes and your iTunes account. Now if you do not already have an iTunes account you can download iTunes from and you simply need to follow the instructions. In most cases if you have plugged in the iPad to your computer and you have not got iTunes installed already you will be asked to sign up for an account.
Step 3: You can then use iTunes to transfer music and other media from your computer to your iPad. In most cases all you need to do is open up iTunes and then drag and drop the media you want on your iPad to the iPad section on iTunes.
Step 4: Once everything is complete transferring you can unplug the iPad from your computer and start using it.
To turn it on you can push the power button in the top right, or push the Home button which is at the bottom in the middle of the device.
Once you have done that you can slide your finger from where the arrow starts across to the right to unlock the iPad. From there you will see a lot of icons and EVERYTHING you do on the iPad is controlled by touch. So you just need to start exploring, maybe start from the top left and explore what each icon does.
If you hold the iPad horizontally it will adjust the screen so you can have a widescreen or if you hold it vertically it will go back to standard.
You will get about 10 hours of use with a full charged battery.
Once you have the basics covered you will be ready to connect to a Wi-fi network and browse the web and also set up an email account with your iPad.

Disadvantages of Cloud Computing
Everything has its pros and cons. Similarly, cloud computing too along with the wide host of advantages, has a number of shortcomings. Some of them have been discussed below and will help you determine the extent to which cloud computing suits your needs.
1. Privacy
Cloud computing makes all of your personal data present on servers. Not just emails, or social networking records but everything will be present on a server that belongs to a third party. The issue of privacy is the first one that pops up. What guarantee does the third party give users that their information will not be trespassed?
2. Security
Powerful servers such as those of Hotmail, Yahoo and Picasa have ample security that protects not only their own information but also that of their users. However, cloud service vendors are relatively small and less immune to external attacks. This puts a question mark on the safety of the clients from malware such as viruses, worms, spyware and trojans as well as deliberate human attacks.
3. Control
Don’t you perform different maintenance routines such as Check Disk and Disk Defragmentation on your PC to keep it running efficiently? Such routines maintain your PC’s health and give you a better user experience. Cloud computing on the other hand, doesn’t permit you to run any such checks, making you heavily dependent on Cloud Service Providers (CPS). Moreover, a common user has very little insight of the contingency procedures that SCPs use such as those related to backup, recovery and restoration.
4. Transferability
Once, a user begins cloud computing on a certain server, and finds that the Cloud Service Providers aren’t good enough, he or she lands in a tight spot. It is very difficult to switch on to a different CSP. Hence, all one can do is bear with the flaws of the current CSP.
5. Downtime
Imagine those few seconds when one the websites that you most visit shows a downtime error. The unpredictability of the situation makes you panic and leaves you no option. Imagining the downtime of a Cloud Service Provider is even more terrible because it stops you from accessing your computer at all. No matter how trusted a web server is, it can never be completely safe from downtime errors. Even some of the most famous and trusted websites have gone through downtime. For example Amazon’s network experienced a downtime for four long days affecting millions of users starting on February 21, 2011. On February 2, 2011, Gmail and Google Plus had their servers facing the same problem that went on for two days severely affecting their users. Sony too had to shut down the website of the Playstation network for 25 days affecting seven million users on April 21, 2011 after an account of unauthorized intrusion.
The disadvantages mentioned above must be considered before you make your decision to entire shift to cloud computing. It must however be noted that cloud computing is still evolving and will improve with time.

The Benefits Of Using A Cloud Server
If you own a small business, then you have probably heard about cloud computing as the next wave of the future. While you may have heard the phrase before, you may not be completely familiar with what it actually is. A cloud server could be the cost-efficient computing solution that your business has been looking for and it could also help your company to become much more mobile in this increasingly mobile world.
Prior to cloud computing, it was extremely expensive for a small business to own and administer a network. The physical structure of the architecture consisted of expensive servers, network cabling, hubs, repeaters and workstations. That does not include the costly software required for each layout. On top of those costs, the small business would need to hire IT professionals to make sure that the system was running properly at all times.
A cloud server set-up is much simpler. A cloud is a subscription service that allows your company to lease the storage space it needs on a secure, third-party server. Your workstations access the network through a secure Internet connection. That means that the only equipment you need to run your system are a wireless Internet connection and workstations equipped for wireless connections. There is no more expensive physical infrastructure and you also do not need to hire technicians anymore either.
You can set up your cloud service any way you want. You can create administrative profiles that allow access to some parts of the service for everyone, and then make certain parts of the system off limits to the general employee population. It operates just like you had a physical server in your building. You can also lease your application software and stop paying for expensive user licenses. You only pay for the amount of time your people spend using the applications. Since your applications and storage will no longer be loaded onto each workstation, you can save money by purchasing smaller workstations with less storage space and more system memory.
Another great benefit to this kind of computing method is that your field staff can access all of the information they need without having to invest in the expensive process of creating a connection to your private servers. All your field personnel needs to do is access the cloud and save documents to the same storage space that the rest of the company is using. Your field workers now have all of the real-time data they need to do their jobs more efficiently.
By utilizing the power of a cloud server, your company can save a considerable amount of money on owning and maintaining a computer network. Your business will be able to run more efficiently and you will be able to administer your network from one workstation. Everyone in the company has access to the information that they need and you never have to worry about losing your data if your server crashes. Your cloud provider does regular backups and protects your information for you, and you can add to your storage space if you need to by simply expanding your cloud account.
